This blog is mostly going to be my thoughts on areas of the Bible that I am studying. I am no expert, but the Holy Spirit is and He is my teacher.
1 John 2:27 "But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything and is true, and is no lie - just as it has taught you, abide in him."
As I read God’s word, I often will have new insights into what it means, and I will share those here. I pray that the things I have learned are uplifting to you. More importantly, I hope it gives you reason to go to the Word yourself to check it out.
Don’t take my word for anything without reading the Bible for yourself to see if God confirms it for you. God Bless.

For a long time, I thought it was just about whether or not to eat, and that Jesus was resisting the devil’s suggestion on principle because, well, he’s the devil so you’re supposed to resist him. However, I have come to realize there is more to it than that…
